                      to the horizon.

12/26        Evening:  The Moon ~ 5° SE of Saturn, high in the southwest.

                     Its Spring equinox on Mars for the north hemisphere.

12/28       Evening:  Moon ~3° SE of Neptune.

12/28-29   Evening:  Venus and Mercury are less than 2° separation, low in the southwest

                        after sunset.

12/29        Evening:  Moon ~ 5° SE of Jupiter.

                      Mercury starts its retrograde motion.

12/30       First Quarter Moon.
